Homeless Animals and Environment Protection Society is nonprofit organization found in 1999 in Istanbul in order to offer solution for the problem of stray animals in Istanbul and to raise public awareness about importance of environmental issues. Regarding problem of stray animals our opinion is that the only working method is vaccinate, neuter and release. Our work consists from educational programs, raising public awareness and running a shelter for stray dogs. We are working in coordination with SHKD* to persuade the authorities as well as the public about the project of "neuter, vaccinate and release".
